NY Times.

Let us be eager to leave what is familiar for what is true.

Comfort zone.

Comfort zone.

Now Reading;

I spent quite some time in Barnes and Nobles this evening, just perusing the isles with no concrete idea as to what type of book I could commit to indulging in.

I vowed to myself that one book a month was necessary to not only keep my brain stimulated in between my hectic lifestyle but to provide some type of escape from “reality” if you will. Nearly a year out of college and I had yet to pick up a book simply for leisure so, I must admit I’m excited to read again.. this time for my own pleasure.

On to the novel;

As I sat at the round table, sipping my white chocolate mocha, which is my new Starbucks obsession might I add, and book in hand I had all intent on just reading a page or two to get an idea as to where this novel was headed. It didn’t take long for me to realize that this is exactly the type of writing style I was in search of. Immediately I felt the suspense and drowned out the background noises just so I can fully grasp every word.

A Walk Across The Sun is an an intense, educational fiction of the Indian culture, human sex trafficking, and survival.

Tell me. What are you reading this month?
